The Sheriff's Last Stand was a unique black-tie boxing dinner held at the Old Bailey in 2023. This inaugural event was organised by the Sheriffs' & Recorder's Fund, a charity based at the Old Bailey and supported by various livery companies.

The evening showcased several bouts between two north and south boxing clubs - Manchester’s Moss Side Fire Station and Lambeth’s Fitzroy Lodge - and also featured a special white-collar boxing match in which Sheriff Alastair King participated, aiming to be 'King of the Ring'. The event took place in the historic marble halls of the Central Criminal Court, offering attendees a distinctive dining and sporting experience.

The film promoted the launch of a pioneering series of fundraising boxing events in iconic venues and has subsequently helped secure an international UK v USA boxing spectacle at The Guildhall in London, October 2025.
